The central location is the point of departure for all hiking and mountainbike tours and excursions in the vicinity.
Within a few kilometers you find a world of vacation which is a must: Lake Gosausee, Hallstatt, Salzburg, Bad Ischl, Dachstein caves and glacier, ice caves, mountain lakes, salt mines, the Abtenau-based summer tobogganing run, etc.
